Fender Telecaster Chris Shiflett

 Mr. Shiflett has always loved telecasters but the single-coil sound never seemed to fit with the harder sounds of the Foo Fighters. So, he took it upon himself to build a Tele Deluxe from scratch. Fender caught on to what he was up to and offered to build him a signature model and the rest is history.
As for this particular example, it is in really good shape. The nut could use some love, especially on the high E side. With aggressive playing, it has a tendency to get caught up. The case is in good shape as well, however, for some unknown reason the previous owner did not like Chris Shiflett's signature on their Chris Shifflet signature case and they tried to cover up the signature on the case with a marker. We put some elbow grease into it and got it close to its original condition. There is still a faint discoloring on the signature. Other than that this guitar is in great shape and ready for its new owner.
